Register For The ACT 1 Courses Now
ACT 1 courses are for beginners, and light-intermediates. Actors will focus on characterization, the classic archetypes, and the development of acting etiquette. Filmmakers will focus on story concept, scripting, and production prep, all through team projects.
Both Classes will collectively produce four (4) 10-minute-or-less shorts.
Space for each course is limted for each discipline (Acting or Filmmaking).
Students cannot take both courses at once, nor can they switch disciplines mid-course.

The Acting Course(s) meets Mondays & Wednesdays
Late Morning Course(s) 10:00AM - 12:00PM
Afternoon Course(s) is at 12:30PM - 2:30PM
Later Afternoon Course(s) is at 3:30PM - 5:30PM
The Filmmaker Course(s) meets Tuesdays & Thursdays
Late Morning Course(s) 10:00AM - 12:00PM
Afternoon Course(s) is at 12:30PM - 2:30PM
Later Afternoon Course(s) is at 3:30PM - 5:30PM

After the general course description and introduction to the Staff, we will hold short interviews with each prospective student/protégé to determine your commitment and potential to contribute to the cinematic arts either in front of or behind the camera; and will evaluate any cinematic experience you have as well.
This is an Education Enrichment Program primarily for Adults (18 & older), and does not offer any college credit for participation within this program.
Those at or under 18 who are exiting/graduating high school early or otherwise have time in their schedules, are welcome to register and will be considered on a case-by case basis.
