We offer a 12-week intensive program for each section or ACT dedicated to the art of acting and filmmaking. Each course is carefully designed to shape aspiring artists into well-prepared professionals in the world of of independent and professional cinema. Each course accommodates a limited number of students for each discipline (Acting and Filmmaking).
Actors will enhance their performance skills, focus on character development, and acting techniques, while Filmmakers will delve into Pre-, Principle, and Post-Production, as well as Camera, Lighting, Sound, and Screenwriting.
Both classes will combine forces in the last weeks to create 2 to 4 short-film projects of their own creation
The end of the course(s) culminates in a Semi-Formal Event where we will screen the students' Final Works, along with a Certificate and Awards Ceremony celebrating the Students' Acheivement(s).
Whether an Actor or Filmmaker, the ACT 1 Course(s) is for the Beginner or Light Intermediate with perhaps some High School stage or Student Film experience.
Actors will focus on characterization, the classic archetypes, and development of acting etiquette.
Filmmakers will focus on story concept, scripting, and production prep, all through team projects.
Both Classes will collectively produce four (4) 10-minute-or-less shorts.
ACT 2 Course(s) are for the ACT 1 Graduates or Intermediates with perhaps Student or Independant Film experience.
Actors focus will be on various schools of acting technique, where individuals find the discipline that suits them best.
Filmmakers will focus on the importance of camera techniques, lighting design, and audio sourcing (microphones), as well as additional pre, principal, and post-production instruction.
Both classes will collaboratively produce two (2) 30-minute-or-less shorts.
ACT 3 Course(s) are for the ACT 2 Graduates Only.
Actors will double-down on Characterization & Best Effective Personal Techniques, and the Business of Showbiz.
Similarly, the Filmmakers will have a complete Pre to Post-Production refresher, and also learn the Business of Showbiz.
Both Classes will collectively produce four (4) 10-minute-or-less shorts.
